A leading Life Insurer is looking for a talented SQL Server developer to work in their business critical MIS development team. You will play a key role in the development and ongoing maintenance of the MIS platform. In this firm, MI and Data Analysis is key to the day-to-day success of the business and you become critical member of this team. You will get the chance to work closely with the business users and 3rd party vendors as well as the opportunity to progress your technical skills. The successful candidate will be given the unique opportunity to work in an independent and career enhancing role.

You will have proven commercial experience developing MIS solutions using SQL Server, 2000/2005 and preferably 2008. You will ideally have experience using other Microsoft BI tools and preferably have some working knowledge of SSIS and SSRS. Data architecture qualifications such as MCP are desirable but not essential.

Experience gained within a Financial Services environment is preferable but the successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also be a driven and motivated individual that displays a pro-active attitude to development and business relationships.
