Damien Bernard joined High Finance Group in July 2010. His focus is European Actuarial recruitment, covering the Life, General Insurance and Pensions markets. Damien primarily recruits for leading insurers, reinsurers and consultancies. Damien has an excellent network within the European Actuarial profession and is fluent in French, Spanish and English, with an understanding of Portuguese, Italian and German.

Having spent 20 years living abroad in various countries including China, Lebanon and Spain, Damien enjoys a challenge and working in different cultures. Damien has an entrepreneurial background, having previously set up two companies. These companies focused upon advising large franchised brands on recruitment, demonstrating his knowledge of the recruitment market.

Prior to joining High Finance Group, Damien worked for a London based Actuarial recruitment firm where he focused upon European Actuarial recruitment.

Damien has a Masters in International Business Development from ESC Pau, France.

Recently, Damien completed the Dublin Marathon 2011 and the 2010 London Triathlon at the Excel Centre. He is a keen sportsman, and enjoys trying out new sports. Damien enjoys travelling and socialising.
