RSA Bid for Aviva's GI Rejected

RSA has made a £5billion bid for Aviva's General Insurance business that the company has rejected. The offer was made in a letter from John Napier, chairman of the RSA.

Although no higher offer has been made as yet, RSA are serious about acquiring Aviva's GI business, so they may come back with one soon.
